Gordon Korman visits Churchill

On Monday, October 20, our Middle School students had the opportunity to meet guest author Gordon Korman, a New York Times bestselling author of more than 75 books for kids and young adults.

Gordon’s writing career began at the age of twelve when his seventh-grade English assignment became his first novel, which was published while he was a freshman in high school.

Now decades later he is a full-time writer with more than 1.7 million copies of his novels in print.  His books have been translated into 14 languages.

Nickelodeon recently brought Gordon’s best-seller book “Swindle” series to life in a made-for-TV movie.

What is the secret of Gordon’s success?  A combination between real life and pure imagination.  Click here to look at his website!
