Art

The elementary art curriculum at Churchill School is all about guided exploration. Whether our students are exploring materials, finding out where art fits in other cultures and subject areas, or learning about artists and art history, we want to give them a solid foundation in art. This foundation will give them knowledge of, and an appreciation for, art that will last a lifetime. We want to provide your children with a positive, nurturing environment where they can be inspired and motivated to create art. Many project ideas stem from themes that are multicultural and interdisciplinary, incorporating ideas from their studies in science, history, math, geography, computer skills, and art history. Not only do we look forward to teaching your children, we are excited to learn from them, inspire them, and be inspired by them! Remember, art is the universal language!
