Brian Selznick visits Churchill

On March 5, 2013, Brian Selznick visited with Churchill School's Upper Elementary and Middle Schools. 

Brian wrote and illustrated The Invention of Hugo Cabret, which was the inspiration for the Oscar-winning 2011 3-D historical adventure drama film, Hugo.

He has written and/or illustrated over 25 books for children, many of them winning prestigious books awards, including a Caldecott Medal, Cadecott Honor Book Awards, and Robert F. Sibert Honor Awards.
